No permission to accuse judiciary- SC

The Supreme Court said that the entire state is describing an atmosphere where the judiciary has become hostile. The Supreme Court said that this is a proper case of contempt of court. The court told the CBI that its officers cannot choose any particular state. But this does not allow them to crack down on the entire state judiciary.

Agency making reprehensible allegations- Supreme Court

During the hearing, the Supreme Court lashed out at the CBI and said that the agency is making reprehensible allegations while attacking the judiciary. According to the information, after being severely criticized by the division bench of Justice Abhay S Oak and Justice Pankaj Mittal, ASG SV Raju on behalf of the CBI said that the petition was not prepared properly. The Supreme Court has allowed a new petition in this case.

What argument did the CBI give?

According to Live Law, the transfer petition of the cases was filed by the CBI in December last year. In the petition, the CBI had expressed concern over alleged intimidation of witnesses and endangering the process of justice. The court had issued notice on the petition in February this year.
