News India Live, Digital Desk: Today is the last Tuesday of the year and everyone is busy in their work, but in the afternoon, people traveling in Lucknow Metro got a shock when suddenly the trains stopped at various places. Due to power supply failure on the Red Line going from Munshi Pulia to Amausi Airport, the metro service had to be completely stopped for some time.

sudden chaos
What happened was that due to some technical glitch in the OHE (Overhead Equipment) or electrical system between Munshi Pulia and Airport Route, the flow of current stopped. As soon as the power went out, the moving metro trains stopped on the roads and bridges. Many passengers had to sit inside the train for a long time, which created a humid and nervous situation. The most troubled passengers were those who had flights at the airport or who had important work to do near Munshi Pulia.

hours of waiting and cab ride
The employees present at the metro station say that the technical team has found out the faulty part and the work to repair it is going on war footing. Constant announcements are being made at the station that services are currently affected. During this time, huge crowd gathered at the stations and people have to accept defeat and resort to other routes and auto-cabs.

If you are leaving home…
If you have any plan to travel by metro on this route this evening, it would be better to check the location of your nearest station or choose other means. At present, it may take some time for the glitch to be completely fixed.

It is hoped that the Lucknow Metro administration will solve this problem as soon as possible so that the pace of the city does not come to a halt in the last days of the year.
