With the sky becoming cloudy late evening on Saturday, strong winds started in most parts of the state including the capital Bhopal, while it started raining with strong winds in Seoni and Balaghat. Hail even fell in Lalbarra area of Balaghat. Water fell in Seoni for about 40 minutes. Hail also fell at some places in the district. The Meteorological Department has predicted similar weather for the next three days till March 19.
Suddenly strong winds blew in Bhopal at around 3.30 pm on Saturday night. At the same time, rain and hailstorm occurred at many places in Seoni and Balaghat districts. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather patterns in the state have changed due to the impact of weather systems formed at different places. According to meteorologists, the weather may remain bad till March 19. There will be rain with thunderstorm in the districts of Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions, while there may be isolated rain in the districts of Rewa, Sagar, Narmadapuram and Bhopal divisions. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in the districts of Jabalpur, Shahdol and Sagar divisions. There will be a drop in day temperature due to cloudy sky.
Senior meteorologist Ajay Shukla said that at present a cyclone is forming in the upper part of the air over northern Odisha. At the same time, an anti-cyclone is also formed in the Bay of Bengal. Due to the impact of these weather systems, there is a possibility of intermittent rainfall in East Madhya Pradesh. During this period, winds can blow at a speed of about 40 kilometers per hour.
He said that according to the forecast, there are chances of rain in the districts of Jabalpur, Shahdol along with Narmadapuram and Sagar divisions on Sunday. Hail may fall in Dindori, Chhindwara and Mandla districts. There may be intermittent rain in the districts of Narmadapuram, Shahdol and Sagar divisions on Monday. Hail may fall in Dindori, Pandhurna and Mandla districts. On Tuesday, there may be intermittent rain with thunderstorm in the districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Rewa, Jabalpur and Sagar divisions. During this period, there is a possibility of hailstorm in Dindori, Jabalpur, Pandhurna, Seoni and Mandla districts.
