Dehradun, 01 March (HS). The weather in Uttarakhand is going to be dire. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy snowfall in five districts, rain and lightning in the entire state from March 1 to 3.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will change in entire Uttarakhand from the evening of March 1. With this the period of rain and snowfall will begin.
Dr. Bikram Singh, Director of Uttarakhand Meteorological Center, said that the weather in the state will change from the evening or night of March 1. He said that there will be heavy rain in the state throughout the day on March 2. Also, orange alert of heavy to heavy snowfall has been issued in five districts.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy snowfall in areas at a height of 2500 meters to 3000 meters in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts of Uttarakhand on March 2. Apart from this, a forecast of heavy rain has been issued in the entire state. Besides, lightning and storm have also been predicted. A forecast of rain and snowfall has also been issued on March 3.
