Dense fog will remain in these states for the next 2 days
According to the Meteorological Department, today and tomorrow there will be dense fog in various parts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Bihar. The weather will remain like this for the next 5 days i.e. till 4th December. Winter has started well in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan. Delhi’s minimum temperature on Thursday was the lowest of this season.
The temperature was recorded at 10.1 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above normal. There is a possibility of very cold weather in these states in the next 2 days. There will be an alert of dense fog in the capital Delhi for the next 5 days. The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be 26 to 28 degrees for the next 2 days. The minimum temperature can remain between 9 to 10 degrees.
Snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand
There will be snowfall in the three hill states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the next 5 days till December 4. Due to snowfall, the weather of these states remains quite cool and pleasant. The temperature may drop to minus in Gulmarg and Kupwara cities of Jammu and Kashmir.
The minimum temperature in the remaining cities is likely to be 9-10 degrees. There is no fog warning for Uttarakhand, but due to cold winds, temperatures may remain below zero in many cities of the state. Dense fog can be seen at many places in Himachal Pradesh. In hilly areas like Kufri, Kullu, Manali, Kasaul the temperature may fall by 2 degrees.
