Weather Update: Indian Meteorological Department has released the latest weather report. This latest report shows that the weather has once again taken a turn. Due to which there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm. There is a forecast of snowfall especially in the hilly areas.
Recent satellite imagery has revealed rain and snowfall activity in the western Himalayan region. Which is likely to remain the same. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also warned the people. There is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Today i.e. on 19th February, there is a possibility of heavy rain at various places in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. Besides, heavy rain and snowfall (64.5 to 115.5 mm) is likely at isolated places on February 20. Also, heavy to very heavy rainfall and snowfall (115.6 to 204.4 mm) is likely over Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on February 19.
