The forecast issued by IMD says that the temperature is likely to increase in many districts of Odisha from April 2, 2024. At the same time, the impact of the cyclone on North Chhattisgarh and its surrounding areas is expected to reduce.
According to the latest IMD bulletin, below normal rainfall is likely over the east and west coasts, parts of east and northeast India and west central India. At the same time, the minimum temperature in most parts of the country is likely to be normal or above normal. Except for a few isolated pockets over north-east and north-west India, minimum temperatures are likely to remain normal or below normal.
The Meteorological Department said that the average rainfall across the country during April 2024 is likely to be 88-112% of normal. Normal or above normal rainfall is expected over most parts of northwest India and many parts of central India, northern Peninsular India, parts of eastern and northeast India.
