Weather Update: The weather is changing rapidly in the northeastern and southern states of India. According to the latest update from IMD, heat wave will continue over various parts of North Interior Karnataka in the next 24 hours.
While there is a possibility of thunderstorm and strong winds at some places in North-Eastern Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall at various places in Arunachal Pradesh from April 4 to 7.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), thunderstorms along with gusty winds of 40 to 50 kmph are likely over West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha on April 6, 7 and 8. Winds can blow. Which will be seen at some places.
According to IMD, the wind speed in the surrounding areas will be 30 to 40 km per hour. There is also a possibility of rain during this period. Whereas the weather will remain dry in the plains of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat. There is a possibility of temperature increase in these states.
Light to moderate rain with moderate thunderstorms is likely over parts of Northeast India, especially Manipur and adjoining areas of Southeast Assam and South Meghalaya. Heat wave conditions are likely to persist over isolated parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and North Interior Karnataka during April 4 to 6, 2024.
Rain/storm activity is likely to continue over Northeast India till April 07, 2024. Light/moderate rain with thunderstorm is likely over West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand during April 6 to 9 and lightning over Bihar on April 7 and 8, 2024.
