Weather Update: The month of August is about to end and the weather has taken a drastic turn. Rain continues from Delhi to Kerala and hilly states. There is a possibility of heavy rain during the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami on Monday.

The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain and strong winds in Delhi on Monday. The wind speed is likely to be 30 to 40 km per hour. The maximum temperature may reach 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may remain around 25 degrees Celsius.

A yellow alert has been announced for Delhi on Tuesday, August 27. Light to moderate rain is expected with strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph. The maximum temperature may hover around 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature may hover around 25 degrees Celsius.

There is a possibility of light rain and cloudy weather during August 28 to 31. During this period, the maximum temperature can remain between 33 to 34 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature can remain between 24 to 25 degree Celsius.

It has been raining continuously in Uttar Pradesh for the last few days. Heavy rains have been reported in many districts. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in many districts including Kanpur, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Agra, Unnao, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Jaunpur, Etawah, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Hamirpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Pilibhit on Monday. These include Gonda, Basti and Lucknow.

Light to moderate rain is likely at most places in eastern Rajasthan, heavy to very heavy rain at some places and extremely heavy rain at some places on August 26. Whereas in the western region, light to moderate rain is likely at most places and heavy to very heavy rain at some places during August 26 and 27.
