Just a few hours after the rain, waterlogging was seen in the low-lying areas of the city and on major roads like Kachari Road, Old GT Road. Local people say that if such monsoon rains continue, then due to the negligence of the Municipal Corporation, the pedestrians may have to face heavy traffic jams and filth. The Meteorological Department has predicted intermittent rain in the district during the next 24 hours.
