The last phase of departure of monsoon from the country is going on, but despite this, the weather patterns are changing again and again, increasing the concern of common people and farmers. The weather has once again taken a turn over Jharkhand, due to which dark clouds have suddenly appeared in many parts of the state. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) and the Ranchi-based weather center have issued a warning of heavy rain with strong winds in about 14 districts of the state. Especially in the capital Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro and surrounding areas, after this sudden change in the weather, people have got some relief from the humid heat, but the heartbeats of the farmers have increased due to the standing crops standing in the fields. Let us know which districts of Jharkhand are facing this weather crisis for the next few days and what the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department is saying.
According to meteorologists, although the departure lines of the southwest monsoon have moved forward, due to the influence of low pressure areas and cyclonic winds forming in the Bay of Bengal, seasonal activities suddenly become active again in the eastern parts of the country. In Jharkhand too, due to bright sunshine for the last few days, a slight increase in temperature was recorded, due to which the humidity and sticky heat were troubling the people. Due to this suddenly formed new weather system, the amount of moisture in the atmosphere has increased, as a result of which the movement of dense clouds has started in the sky. The Meteorological Department says that these rains are the last phase of monsoon farewell showers, which can also take the form of torrential rains along with thunderstorms in some areas.
According to the latest update released by the Meteorological Center, Ranchi, the weather condition is expected to remain completely bad in about 14 districts of Jharkhand during the next few hours. Apart from the capital Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Giridih, Koderma, areas of some southern and western districts like Singhbhum and Gumla-Khunti are also included in this list. Not only is there a possibility of light to moderate rain in these districts, but at some places there is also a high risk of winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour along with thunder and lightning. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these areas and advised people to be especially cautious.
This unseasonal rain and storm alert in the rural areas and agricultural areas of Jharkhand has given sleepless nights to the farmers. At present, paddy and other Kharif crops are on the verge of maturity or in the harvesting stage in many parts of the state. At such times, due to strong winds and heavy rains, the risk of crops falling and rotting due to water logging in the fields increases significantly. Agricultural experts have appealed to the farmers that if their crop is ready after harvesting, then they should immediately transport it to safe places or warehouses. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also issued a warning to the common citizens, saying that during bad weather and the possibility of thunderstorms, people should not stand under trees at all, avoid going to open fields and stay inside safe pucca houses or shelters so that any untoward incident can be avoided.
