Weather became pleasant due to rain in many districts including Ranchi, heat wave conditions in Palamu division

Ranchi, June 17 (HS). It rained in many districts including the capital Ranchi on Sunday night. After this the weather became pleasant. The sky was cloudy on Monday morning in many districts including Ranchi. The sun came out for a while after seven o'clock but then hid behind the clouds. People breathed a sigh of relief as cold winds started blowing in the morning. The maximum temperature of half a dozen districts of Jharkhand including Ranchi has come down below 40 degrees.

Ranchi Meteorological Department scientist Abhishek Anand said that monsoon will enter by June 20. In such a situation, people will have to wait till June 20 for monsoon. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature is expected to fall in the coming days. There is heat wave situation only in Palamu division. After Monday, people can get relief from heat wave there too.

According to the Meteorological Center, the effect of heat wave will be seen till June 18. Palamu, Chatra, Garhwa, Latehar districts will be most affected. Yellow alert has been issued in these districts. According to the Meteorological Center, the average maximum temperature of the state has decreased by two degrees during the last 24 hours. Earlier, where the temperature of most districts was being recorded above 41 degrees, a decrease in temperature was seen during the last 24 hours.

Earlier, while the temperature of Palamu, Garhwa, Godda was being recorded more than 45 degrees, on Monday morning the temperature of Palamu and Garhwa was 43 degrees. The temperature of Bokaro, Giridih, Deoghar, Ramgarh was recorded at 42 degrees. The temperature of Chatra, Hazaribagh, Jamtara, Latehar was 41 degrees. The temperature of Dhanbad, Lohardaga was 40 degrees. The temperature of Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Gumla, Saraikela was up to 39 degrees. During this time, rain also occurred at one or two places in the state, in which 1.8 mm rain was recorded in Bokaro Thermal and 0.6 mm rain was recorded in Namkum.
