Weak eyesight: Due to lack of these nutrients your eyesight can become weak

Life is dark without eyes, so when you feel that your eyesight is getting weak it means that you are lacking some nutrients, remove it immediately otherwise you may have to wear glasses.

Adding powerful vitamins, antioxidants and minerals to your daily diet can improve your eye health and vision. Many studies have shown that nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, lutein and zeaxanthin improve vision.

Your body needs these nutrients to improve vision

1. Lutein and Zeaxanthin

Several studies show that lutein and zeaxanthin reduce the risk of chronic eye diseases. People who take more lutein and zeaxanthin have a lower risk of developing new cataracts. For this, apart from dark green leafy vegetables, definitely eat broccoli and peas.

2. Vitamin C

Much scientific evidence shows that vitamin C reduces the risk of cataracts and, when taken with other essential nutrients, may help prevent eye aging and vision loss. For this, eat orange, grapes, strawberry, papaya, green chilli, tomato and lemon.

3. Vitamin E

Vitamin E protects eye cells from many molecules and free radicals that break down healthy cells. Rich sources of vitamin E include vegetable oils (including safflower and corn oils), nuts, wheat germ, and sweet potatoes.

4. Essential Fatty Acids

Omega-3 fatty acids are important for proper vision development and retina function. Studies conducted on pre-term and full-term infants show that getting enough omega-3 fatty acids in the diet is essential for optimal vision development. For this, increase the intake of salmon, tuna and other cold water fish.

5. Zinc

Zinc plays an important role in delivering vitamin A from our liver to the retina to produce melanin, the protective pigment in the eyes. Avoid zinc deficiency in your body to avoid blurred vision, night blindness and cataract. For this, apart from nuts and seeds, you can also eat red meat.
