Islamabad: Pakistan Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has said that the trade agreement between India and Pakistan is stalled since August 2019. We are seriously considering relaunching it. Their Foreign Minister has indicated that Pakistan is thinking of improving relations with India. Pakistan's leaders have been continuously giving anti-India statements but now they are softening down.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister gave this statement during a press conference in London. He said that Pakistan is currently facing economic crisis, in such a situation Pakistani businessmen should promote trade with India. He said that many of our businessmen want to increase trade with India. Pakistan government also wants to improve trade relations with India.

This statement of the Foreign Minister is an indication that Pakistan now wants to come out of its old policy regarding relations with India. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Since the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has been repeatedly saying that we do not want to open trade relations with India, but now for the first time Pakistan has changed its stand. The economic crisis has increased in Pakistan and the situation is so serious that people are not able to get even two meals a day.
