Kolkata, 05 November (HS). Diwali Preeti Milan of All India Marwari Conference was held at Haldiram Banquet, Ballygunge, South Kolkata.
Presiding over the function, National President of the conference Shiv Kumar Lohia said that we are moving away from our values. Indian civilization has been a civilization of spirituality and we are adopting materialism. Diwali was celebrated when Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya after exile. The day Ram appears in our hearts, we will start celebrating Diwali. He said that we have to uplift ourselves by awakening our self-confidence and self-respect. If we all uplift ourselves together, then all the problems of the society will be solved in this way.
