Himanta Biswa Sarma said that we have a manifesto, we have a resolution, we will go among the people with it and the people will make NDA victorious. He said that we believe that we have no nepotism. Arjun Munda is not contesting the elections so his wife has been given the ticket, similarly Raghuvar Das will not contest the elections hence his daughter-in-law Purnima has got the ticket.
Without mentioning JMM, Sarma said that in our party it is not the case that the wife is also contesting the elections, the husband is also contesting the elections and his brother is also contesting the elections. This is not the case in our party. Champai Soren has recently come to our party and at the time of joining, some talks were held with him and assurances were given, which have been implemented.
He said that Champai Soren will have to be looked at a little differently because he was not in BJP earlier. Except for Champai Soren's son, there is no nepotism in our party. During this, he told that candidates will be declared soon for Barhet and Tundi seats. Its elections are to be held in the second phase, so we will take full time and announce the names of the candidates on these seats. Some people accept the ticket announcement and there are some who do not, so this is a natural process, those who are from BJP will agree and those who have the feeling that due to not getting the ticket, we will not work in the party.
