Prayagraj, September 18 (HS). We all should love our mother tongue, and at the same time we should not have any prejudice against other languages. This was said by Justice Krishna Pahal of Allahabad High Court on Wednesday while addressing the advocates on the foundation day of All India Advocates Council on behalf of Advocates Council Kashi High Court Unit Prayagraj.

Speaking as the chief speaker at a function organized in the library hall of the Bar Association, he appealed to the advocates and said that there is no legal bar in preparing plaints in Hindi and presenting one's side before the court in any court of Uttar Pradesh. We should try to use our mother tongue as much as possible and present our views in our mother tongue in the court as well. Underlining the importance of the Bar Council in the society, the chief guest Justice Krishna Pahal said that the Bar Council and the Bar Association are there to worry about the interests of the advocates but the Bar Council has been constituted to provide justice to the person standing in the last row of the society.

He said that the Bar Council can play an important role in training young lawyers. While discussing the law making process, he said that there should be detailed discussions before making laws and lawyers should play an active role in it. He cited the inconsistencies in many laws and also suggested lawyers to study various subjects and increase their rationality.

Special guest Additional Advocate General Mahesh Chandra Chaturvedi suggested the Bar Council to organize such events regularly. Senior advocate and former president Radhakant Ojha, who was presiding over the program, thanked the advocates and called upon them to follow the things said by the Justice.

Earlier, the chief guest of the program Justice Krishna Pahal, special guest Additional Advocate General Mahesh Chandra Chaturvedi and former President of the Bar Senior Advocate Radhakant Ojha inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Advocate Saumitra Dwivedi gave the introduction of the topic. Chief Standing Counsel II Dr Rajeshwar Tripathi, General Secretary of Advocate Council Kashi Neeraj Singh, Vice President Naresh Chandra Tripathi, Varun Singh, Priyanka Sharma, Suchita Tripathi, Vatsala Upadhyay, Prabhuti Kant Tripathi, Vinayak Ranjan Pandey, Nagendra Kumar Pandey, Sandeep Singh, Ritwik Shah, etc. were present in the program. The program was conducted by Advocate Abhinav Gaur.
