Hangzhou, March 5 (Hindustan Reporter) The 2023-24 Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) All-Star Game will be held from March 16 to 17 at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium.
The preliminary competitions of the Rising Star Game and Three-Point Contest and Skills Challenge will be held on March 16, while the finals of the All-Star Game and individual events will be held a day later.
Chinese international Li Yuan as well as other famous players including Li Shuangfei and Fang Min will compete in the Skills Challenge.
The three-point contest will also feature national players Wang Siyu and Huang Sijing, as well as sharpshooters Zhang Jingyi and Dong Keer.
During last year's Hangzhou Asian Games, the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium hosted the women's basketball competition, where China defended its title.
“I am happy to return to Hangzhou and I hope I can enjoy the game with the fans,” Huang was quoted as saying by Xinhua.
He said his biggest advantage in the three-point contest is his familiarity with the venue.
“Each participant is very strong,” he said. Since I have played here, I hope to win the competition in the end.”
