The age limit of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years as on January 1, 2024. The applicant must have passed Madhyamik examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language, provided that this provision shall not apply to persons who are permanent residents of the hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts.
The posts of Constable in West Bengal Police will be filled on the basis of written examination followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview conducted by West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
