Rahul Gandhi has shown generosity and donated his one month's salary to help the victims. Rahul Gandhi has donated one month's salary i.e. Rs. 2.3 lakh to the account of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. Rahul Gandhi has also shared a post on social media in this regard. He wrote – Our dear brothers and sisters in Wayanad are facing a devastating tragedy.
Rahul Gandhi further wrote- They have suffered a huge loss in this hour of crisis. They are in dire need of help from people like us. The victims of Wayanad need our support to overcome their loss. Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media that I have donated my entire month's salary to help in the relief and rehabilitation efforts of the affected people.
An appeal to the responsible citizens of the country
Along with this, Rahul Gandhi also appealed to the countrymen for help. He said that I request the honest and sensitive brothers of the country to contribute in every possible way in this hour of crisis. Rahul Gandhi said that every small change makes a difference. Wayanad is a beautiful part of our country and together we can help the people here to get their lives back on track. People have lost a lot in the tragedy here.
