Pithoragarh, 01 April (HS). The Chief Minister said that there is a wave across the country to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. He was speaking at a public meeting organized in favor of BJP candidate Ajay Tamta from Almora Lok Sabha seat at GIC, Khel Maidan, Nachni, Pithoragarh on Monday.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the 14 assembly constituencies falling within the Almora Lok Sabha should vote enthusiastically in favor of Ajay Tamta and make Prime Minister Modi win with a huge majority. He said that every vote from Nachni and Didihat area will go to Prime Minister Modi and will play its role in the development of India. With the blessings of Janata Janardan, everyone is going to vote for the Prime Minister. He said that whenever I come among you people, I feel at home and with my family members. He said that he is overwhelmed by the welcome given by the elders, women and children of Nachni area.
Chief Minister Dhami said that the development of Almora Lok Sabha constituency is continuing. Approval has been given for the construction work of a 110 meter bridge over Ramganga connecting Kapkot and Nachni. The work of building a bridge connecting Berinag to Pithoragarh is going on. Helicopter service from Haldwani to Munsiyari, Pithoragarh has started. Now one can go directly to Dehradun from Pithoragarh by plane. Plane service from Pithoragarh to Delhi is also going to start soon. Construction work of Medical College in Pithoragarh, mobile towers are being installed in various areas. Reconstruction work of the temples here is being done under the Manaskhand Temple Mala Mission.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India has reached the pinnacle of the world. India's respect, power and self-respect have increased in the world. Under his leadership the resolve of a developed India is being fulfilled. India is becoming a hub of technology, medical science, innovation and infrastructure. India is a country of Ganga, Yamuna, Char Dham, etc.- Kailash, Jageshwar, Gods and Goddesses, water, forests, land, mountains.
The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has worked to provide houses to the poor in the country through various schemes. Toilets have been constructed in every village. The work of providing electricity and water to every house is going on. After the Corona period, poor families were given free ration and vaccinated. Every year ₹6000 is coming into the accounts of farmers through DBT. Under the Atal Ayushman Yojana, a guarantee of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh has been given to the countrymen.
The Chief Minister said that today gas connections are being given to every home in every village. The Prime Minister is taking care of every poor person of the country. The work of improving the lives of the countrymen is going on. CAA has been implemented in the country under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Article 370 has ended from Kashmir. The evil practice like triple talaq has ended by giving Muslim sisters their rights. The dream of building a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya has come true. He said that the state government has taken tough decisions facing many challenges.
He said that as promised before the elections, the Uniform Civil Code Bill has been passed by the Uttarakhand Assembly. In the last 10 years, Modi ji has provided every possible support to make Uttarakhand a developed and leading state.
The Chief Minister said that 10 years ago, during the Congress rule, only scams and corruption were prevalent in the country. Nepotism, corruption and looting continued during the Congress rule. Congress people are working to reduce the prestige of the country. Congress party has not given ticket to any woman candidate in Uttarakhand, showing anti-women thinking.
