Waterlogging in Jalaun makes it difficult to walk on the road

Jalaun, 10 August (HS). There was a sudden torrential rain in the district on Saturday afternoon. Due to the rain, the roads got flooded within a few minutes. Walking on the road became difficult due to waterlogging. Similarly, there was waterlogging in the government offices located in Orai headquarters, the officials made arrangements to remove water with the help of pumps. The boxes kept in the Excise Department office had to be removed due to waterlogging. After some time, the water came out through the drains. But till then the Excise employees were seen wiping sweat.

Let us tell you that before the rains, the Nagar Palika had claimed to clean the drains, but as soon as it rained heavily, the claims of the Nagar Palika were exposed. From afternoon onwards, the Nagar Palika employees had to be deployed to remove the waterlogging caused by the rain. Arrangements were made to remove water at the intersections.
