Water supply disrupted for a week, people protested

Mahoba, July 31 (HS). People in the district's Panwadi town, upset with the disruption of water supply for the past one week, came out on the streets late Tuesday night and protested with empty utensils. Citizens allege that despite complaints of disruption of water supply for the past one week, the officials are not paying attention to resolving the problem.

Even in the rainy season, these days about two hundred families in Rahunia Pura of Panwadi town of the district are facing problems for water. Town residents Rajesh Chaudhary, Peer Mohammad, Deepak Prajapati, Dharmendra Vishwakarma, Bhupendra Yadav, Pappu Kumar etc. say that water supply has been disrupted for the last eight days, which was complained to junior engineer Pawan Kumar but he has not resolved the problem yet. The problem remains as it is. Consumers allege that no work is being done to improve water supply for a long time. People are facing problems due to the problem occurring every day. The old pipeline has broken at many places due to which water supply remains disrupted. Consumers have protested and raised the demand to restore water supply.

Junior Engineer Pawan Kumar says that water supply is disrupted due to pipeline leakage, which will be restored after getting it repaired.
