Halwa is a traditional Indian sweet loved by many people. Today we are talking about water chestnut flour halwa. Although it is often made during festivals or fasts, it can be enjoyed on normal days also. Water chestnut flour halwa is a great option that requires minimal ingredients. Material:
1 cup water chestnut flour
1 cup sugar
4 1/2 cups water
6 tbsp ghee
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 tablespoon chopped almonds
recipe:
– Heat ghee in a pan.
– Add water chestnut flour in the pan and keep stirring continuously on medium flame.
– Mix water and sugar in another pan and keep it on medium flame.
-When the flour is roasted well, add prepared sugar syrup and cardamom powder to it.
-Let it boil. Lower the flame and let the water evaporate completely.
-Keep stirring the halwa continuously during this process.
-When ghee starts separating at the edges, it means that the halwa is ready.
-Cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
-Garnish with chopped almonds.
– Serve hot and delicious water chestnut flour halwa.
