Water bombing in Pune..! NDRF rescues people trapped in homes and shops

Many areas of Pune were submerged in flood water

Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol said that the situation has worsened due to the release of more than 40 thousand cusecs of water from the Khadakvasla dam.

Roads, lanes and streets across almost the entire city were inundated and two-wheelers and four-wheelers were stuck in the floodwaters. People were wading through waist to neck-deep water trying to save their belongings. Major roads like Bhide Bridge, Holkar Bridge, Sangam Bridge and adjoining colony, Khillare Complex near Gadwar College, Bridge in front of PMC office have been closed for traffic. The rivers are raging.
