A goods train met with an accident in Delhi. 8 coaches of goods train derailed on Dayabasti section. The accident happened near Zakhira flyover. As soon as information about the accident was received, railway and fire brigade teams reached the spot. Relief and rescue work has been started. Rolls of iron sheet were loaded in the goods train. There is no news of any casualty in the accident yet.

In September 2023, a goods train going from the railway station yard to Gajraula derailed as soon as it reached the main line. Due to which more than 15 trains got delayed. Along with this, many trains were diverted, while after about three hours of effort, the coaches of the goods train were put on the track and sent off. Earlier on June 27, 2023, the EMU had derailed.
