India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has responded to America's interference in India's internal affairs. He told Americans that they should not feel wrong when India reacts to comments made on its internal affairs.
Responding to a question asked at the American think tank Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Jaishankar said that if we think at the level of two countries and two governments, then it is important that both the democracies respect each other. Jaishankar said that it cannot be that one country has the right to comment on another democracy, but if the other country does so then it becomes foreign interference. In response to a question, the Foreign Minister of India said, 'Foreign interference can be called foreign interference, no matter who does it and where. Its definition is very difficult. But I have shared my personal views about this many times. You have every right to comment, but I also have the right to comment on your comment.
