Voting will be held today on 88 seats in 13 states, voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections has started

Today is a big day for India. Voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections is to be held today on 88 seats in 13 states. The results will be declared on June 4. The fate of many stalwarts including Rahul Gandhi and Hema Malini is at stake. Will cast 1 vote from Manipur, 13 from Rajasthan, 1 from Tripura. Voting is to be held on 8 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh and 3 Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal.

Rahul Gandhi is contesting elections from Wayanad seat of Kerala for the second time. Rahul is a 4-time Lok Sabha MP. He is contesting elections from Wayanda for the second time. Union Energy Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is contesting from Jodhpur seat on BJP ticket. Shekhawat is a two-time MP.

Similarly, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Kota. Congress has given ticket to Bhupesh Baghel from Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. Shashi Tharoor is contesting elections from Thiruvananthapuram. BJP has given ticket to Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar from this seat. JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy is the candidate from Mandya seat in Karnataka. Similarly, Vaibhav Gehlot, son of former CM Ashok Gehlot, is contesting from Jalore Rajya Sabha seat. Let us tell you that earlier on April 19, voting was held on 102 seats in the first phase.
