Voting started peacefully, SDM visited various polling stations

Kapurthala: Voting for Panchayat elections 2024 in district Kapurthala started peacefully at 8 am. Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Panchal said that Panchayat elections are going on peacefully in 376 villages of the district. He said that while adequate arrangements have been made by the district administration for peaceful voting,

Under the leadership of the SDM, the election officials along with the security forces are visiting various villages and taking stock of the situation, so that the entire process can be completed successfully. Meanwhile, SDM Sultanpur Lodhi Aparna visited village Dera Saidan of Sultanpur Lodhi and SDM Phagwama Jashanjit Singh visited village Chak Hakim of Phagwara and reviewed the voting process.
