Voting counting training given to polling observers, counting assistants and micro observers

Khunti, 16 November (Hindustan Reporter). On Saturday, on the instructions of the Election Commission, counting observers, counting assistants and micro observers were trained for the counting of votes in Torpa and Khunti assembly constituencies.

This entire process was completed through online medium at NIC Khunti in the presence of District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Lokesh Mishra. The date of counting of votes is fixed for 23rd November, in view of which this process was ensured a week before the counting date as per the SOP of the Election Commission. Videography of this entire process was also done, so that all the processes related to fair and malpractice free elections could be completed while maintaining transparency.
