Voting begins for three Lok Sabha constituencies amid tight security |Live Updates,Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Kanpur, 13 May (Hindus). Voting for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections has started from Monday morning amid tight security. In Kanpur Nagar district, there are 1684 polling centers and 3998 polling places for Misrikh, Kanpur Nagar and Akbarpur Lok Sabha seats.

District Election Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh said that voting for the fourth phase of general Lok Sabha elections has started from 7 am on Monday. Voting will be completed by 6 pm. A total of 3614 polling parties have been organized for 10 assembly constituencies.

There are a total of 36 lakh 5 thousand 479 voters in Kanpur city district. In which there are a total of 203 third gender voters, 19 lakh 28 thousand 56 male voters and 16 lakh 77 thousand 2 hundred 20 female voters.

In this way, there are a total of 16 lakh 62 thousand 8 hundred 59 voters in Kanpur Nagar Lok Sabha constituency. Out of which 122 are third gender and 8 lakh 86 thousand 73 are male voters and 7 lakh 76 thousand 6 hundred 64 are female voters.

Similarly, there are total 18 lakh 69 thousand 1 hundred 67 voters in Akbarpur Lok Sabha constituency. Out of which 79 are third gender voters, 10 lakh 2 thousand 2 hundred 18 are male voters and 8 lakh 66 thousand 8 hundred 79 are female voters.

443 polling stations and 895 booths sensitive in Kanpur city

District Election Officer said that a total of 443 polling stations in Kanpur city are sensitive and 895 booths are sensitive. Additional police have been deployed under the leadership of the area police commissioner and additional district magistrate to monitor such centres.

He said that 101 polling stations and 111 booths are sensitive in Misrikh Lok Sabha constituency of Kanpur city district. Similarly, in Kanpur Nagar Lok Sabha constituency, 142 polling stations and 441 booths are sensitive. In which 22 polling stations and 40 booths in Govind Nagar assembly constituency are sensitive. Similarly, 13 polling stations and 81 booths are sensitive in Sisamau assembly constituency, 42 polling stations and 83 booths in Aryanagar, 17 polling stations and 126 booths in Kidwai Nagar, 48 polling stations and 111 booths are sensitive in Kanpur Cantt.

Similarly, a total of 423 polling stations and 867 booths have been identified as sensitive in Akbarpur Lok Sabha constituency. Assembly wise, 20 polling stations and 28 booths in Akbarpur Rania assembly constituency are sensitive. 50 polling stations and 64 booths in Bithoor, 37 polling stations and 88 booths in Kalyanpur, 25 polling stations and 67 booths in Maharajpur, 68 polling stations and 96 booths in Ghatampur assembly constituency have been identified as sensitive.

46 Zonal Magistrates, 304 Sector Magistrates and 418 Micro Observers

He informed that 6 zonal magistrates, 41 sector magistrates and 70 micro observers have been deployed in Misrikh Lok Sabha constituency of Kanpur city district. Similarly, in Kanpur Nagar Lok Sabha constituency and Govind Nagar assembly constituency, voting will be conducted under the supervision of 5 zonal magistrates, 26 sector magistrates and 35 micro observers. Similarly, there are 3 zonal magistrates, 19 sector magistrates and 35 micro observers in Sisamau assembly constituency, 3 zonal magistrates, 25 sector magistrates and 37 micro observers in Arya Nagar, 3 zonal magistrates, 24 sector magistrates and 41 micro observers in Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur Cantt. 6 Zonal Magistrates, 28 Sector Magistrates and 35 Micro Observers have been deployed. In this way, a total of 20 zonal magistrates, 122 sector magistrates and 183 micro observers have been deployed in Kanpur city.

In this sequence, a total of 22 Sector Magistrates, 141 Sector Magistrates and 165 Micro Observers will be deployed in Akbarpur Lok Sabha constituency. In which 4 Sector Magistrates, 28 Sector Magistrates and 20 Micro Observers are deployed in Akbarpur Rania Assembly Constituency, 5 Sector Magistrates, 32 Sector Magistrates and 45 Micro Observers are deployed in Bithoor. There are 3 zonal magistrates, 18 sector magistrates and 35 micro observers in Kalyanpur, 5 zonal magistrates, 30 sector magistrates and 25 micro observers are deployed in Maharajpur. There are 5 zonal magistrates, 33 sector magistrates and 40 micro observers deployed in Ghatampur assembly constituency.
