Lok Sabha Elections: There are a total of more than 37.22 lakh voters in both the seats of Ahmedabad in the Lok Sabha elections. This includes 20.10 lakh voters from Ahmedabad East and 17.11 lakh voters from Ahmedabad West. In the 2019 assembly elections, there were a total of 34.55 lakh voters on both the seats of Ahmedabad. Thus, the number of voters in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections has increased by 10 percent as compared to 2019.
Talking about assembly seats from Ahmedabad West Lok Sabha seat, Amariwadi has the highest number of voters at 2.87 lakh, while Dariyapur has the least number of voters at 2.05 lakh. Apart from this, there are 8.82 lakh male, 8.28 lakh female and 69 transgender voters, totaling 17.11 lakh voters from Ahmedabad West. In comparison, there were a total of 16.43 lakh voters during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, which included 8.51 lakh men, 7.91 lakh women and 25 transgenders.
A total of 20.10 lakh voters, including 10.52 lakh men, 9.57 lakh women and 113 transgenders, have registered from Ahmedabad East seat. In comparison, during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, there were 9.56 lakh male, 8.55 lakh female, 57 transgender voters, totaling 18.11 lakh voters. If we look at the assembly seats, the maximum number of 4.06 lakh voters has been revealed from Ahmedabad East and the least number of 2.06 lakh voters has been revealed from Bapunagar.
