Voter awareness program of Natrang concluded in Jammu

Jammu, 20 April (HS). The three show series of Natarang Jammu's highly inspiring play 'Loktantra Ka Mantra' concluded on Saturday in the auditorium of Government Women's College, Jammu. Earlier, Natarang launched this most entertaining drama in the auditorium of Government Women's College in the presence of District Development Commissioner Jammu Sachin Kumar and officials of Team Sweep Jammu.

The second show in Jammu was performed in the auditorium of Shikshak Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar. Organized by District Administration Jammu and supported by Chief Electoral Office, Jammu and Kashmir, this inspiring theater performance effectively educated the public about the utmost importance of voting. This captivating play, written by Padmashree Balwant Thakur and directed by Neeraj Kant, aims to create a strong awareness movement to ensure maximum participation of voters in the electoral process.

The real mantra of democracy begins with the aggression of disillusioned, desperate youth struggling to survive in the tainted air of corruption, scams and dishonesty. They see no hope in the future as their present is being ruined by the corrupt system. They want to destroy everything around them in anger, but when an educated person questions them what are they doing to come out of this unfortunate situation? Busy in their illusive world created by social media, they are speechless because they just want things to happen but are not ready to be a part of that change and want everything without any necessary effort. Calling them the world's most vibrant human resource, the educated person inspires them to come forward, take charge and change their destiny.

The most effective way to change the destiny of a country is through voting, it is a very peaceful and effective way to bring about major reforms of your choice. As the play progresses, people from different age groups and different classes are shown in a satirical manner who have their own little reasons for not voting and also for whom to vote. This ignorance and arrogance of the public leaves huge space for vested interests to take advantage of the situation. Through this play all sections of the society are inspired not to run away from their ultimate responsibility of voting for the strong democracy of India.
