Vocational guidance fair organized in Araria, DM inaugurated

Forbesganj/Araria, 6 December (HS). Today, under the aegis of District Employment Office, Araria, Labor Resources Department, Government of Bihar, a one-day employment-cum-vocational guidance fair 2024 was organized in the premises of +2 High School, Araria. This planning-cum-vocational guidance fair was inaugurated by District Officer Araria Anil Kumar, Assistant Director (Planning) Kosi Division Saharsa Bharat Ji Ram, District Panchayat Raj Officer Araria Manish Kumar, District Planning Officer Araria Mohd. Akif Wakkas, Labor Superintendent Araria Amit Kumar and It was done by jointly lighting the lamp by the officials present.

On this occasion, the District Officer said that on today’s planning day, the work of providing jobs is being done with the help of 28 companies. He said that such programs have been organized in Araria district from time to time. The youth here will be engaged in productive work, due to which the youth here will develop themselves, their families and society along with their work. Giving detailed information in this regard, District Planning Officer Araria said that a total of 28 (twenty eight) stalls of companies and 09 (nine) departmental stalls were set up in this planning fair. In which a total of 1358 (one thousand three hundred fifty eight) biodata were received for various posts. Out of them, 443 (four hundred and forty-three) applicants were shortlisted for final selection, and 254 (two hundred and fifty-four) applicants were given guidance about various government schemes through the departmental stall.

In this program, certificates were also distributed by the District Officer among the young men and women trained under the Skilled Youth Programme. On the occasion, Assistant Director Social Security Araria Nitesh Pathak, Manager District Registration cum Counseling Centre, Araria Gajendra Kumar, District Skill Manager Araria Ravi Shankar Kumar, District Skill Expert Santosh Kumar Noni, including departmental officers and employees were present.
