Vivek Ramaswamy backs Trump's mass 'deportation' plan: It would be his priority

Washington: Indian American businessman-turned-politician Vivek Ramaswamy, who once stood against Donald Trump as the Republican Party's presidential candidate, is now becoming a strong supporter of President-elect Donald Trump.

He strongly supports Trump's plan to mass deport immigrants and send them back to their respective countries.

In an interview with CBC News, Vivek Ramaswami was asked, 'Do you think the immigration legal system is over?' In response he said, 'Yes!' We (Republicans) believe that the legal system is completely broken in this regard.

He further said, 'The people who have settled here in the last two years have not yet been able to establish roots in this country. Other people who have committed crimes should also be deported. This number will be in lakhs. “As a result, mass deportation proceedings will begin.”

Ramaswamy gave several interviews one after the other on Sunday.

Ramaswamy further said, 'He (Trump) is taking action so that you can eat comfortably at your dinner table. Trump will do the work during his tenure which he could not do in the previous term. I think this will be a good step.

Praising his own party, the Republican Party, he said, 'Our party is becoming a party of multiple policies and multiple workers. There are also black voters and there are Hispanic voters. There are young voters in this also. He further said, 'We do not believe in old-fashioned conservatism, but in free expression, opposition to censorship, meritocracy and abstinence from world wars and that is why the youth who used to stay away from us are coming towards us. Have gone. ,
