Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana gives new flight to workers and financial help for self-employment


Lucknow, 17 September. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the Vishwakarma Self-Employment and Swadeshi Fair 2026 and the toolkit and loan distribution program organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow on the occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti. During this, the Chief Minister distributed checks for self-employment to the beneficiaries of Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana and toolkits to the workers of various districts. The faces of the beneficiaries lit up after receiving financial assistance and work equipment from the Chief Minister. The workers appreciated the schemes of the Yogi government and said that these are helping them in carrying forward their work and strengthening the financial condition of the family.

Mohammad Mushtaq, resident of Alambagh, Lucknow, received a check of Rs 2 lakh for the salon work. He has been supporting his family by working in a salon for the last 25 years. Mushtaq said that he had never received such a toolkit in the previous governments. Today he is very happy to get help from the Chief Minister.
Awadhesh, a resident of Kanpur, got the goldsmith’s toolkit. Awadhesh, who has been making gold jewelery for about 20 years, expressed happiness on receiving the toolkit from the Chief Minister. He said that he considers himself blessed.

Women got support for self-reliance

Vandana and Rama Jaiswal of Barabanki got a sewing machine. Vandana, who has done a tailoring course, said that she is helping her family financially through tailoring. He was very happy to meet the Chief Minister. Whereas Rama Jaiswal told that he had applied for the toolkit. Along with sewing work, she also takes care of the household responsibilities. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, he said that the Yogi government is doing very good work. There is a lot of difference between the previous government and the present government.

Schemes connecting youth with employment

Rahul Sharma, who works as a carpenter, received a check of Rs 1 lakh. He has been working in this profession for the last eight years. Rahul said that since the coming of Yogi government, he has got the benefit of financial assistance, toolkit and training many times. One lakh rupees will help them buy the necessary tools for their work. He appealed to continue such schemes in future too, so that the youth can get employment opportunities.

Unnao resident Anand Kumar also received a check of Rs 1 lakh for his carpenter work. He said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is doing very good work. In the previous governments, the benefits of schemes were not available to the people of low income group, whereas now they are getting the benefits of government schemes.

Potters also got support

In the programme, Ayodhya resident Ram was provided a toolkit for potter’s work. He said that during the previous government, he did not get the benefit of any government scheme, but now he is getting the benefit of the schemes. Praising the Yogi government, Ram said that he is associated with BJP because of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and will remain associated in future also.
