Villagers postponed the decision to block the track after assurance from railway officials

Yamunanagar, 13 July (HS). A meeting was held between the district administration and the senior officials of the Railway Board, including the Bharatiya Kisan Union, the villagers regarding the stoppage of passenger trains at the railway station Mustafabad. The villagers have been demanding the stoppage of passenger trains at the railway station Mustafabad for a long time. Due to which, it was decided to block the railway track of Mustafabad station on 15 July.

On Saturday, a meeting was held in the office of District Superintendent of Police Ganga Ram Poonia. In which, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Hanuman Prasad from Railway Division Ambala, Senior Commander of Railway Police Security Arun Tripathi, Railway Police Deputy Superintendent Arun Kumar, Jagadhari Sub Divisional Officer Sonu Ram and District President Sanju Gundiyana from the villagers' side, Congress leader Paramjeet Dhiman held talks for about an hour. In which, the administration gave full assurance that the officials are engaged in the work regarding the stoppage of the train and the approval of which has to come from the Railway Board will come soon. Regarding this, District Superintendent of Police Ganga Ram Poonia took time from the villagers till 30th August. Meanwhile, a meeting of the villagers will be organized with the Railway General Manager Delhi, the responsibility of which was taken by the railway officials.

After the meeting, the villagers have postponed their decision to block the railway track on July 15.
