Villagers boycotted voting due to lack of Khadanja, water supply and procession in Fatehpur.

Fatehpur, May 20 (Hindustan Reporter) The villagers of development block and village Teliyani of the district have decided to boycott Lok Sabha voting due to their problems. No voter from the village voted till 09 am. Angered by the lack of Khadanja, water supply from tank and marriage procession in the village, the villagers have announced to boycott voting today. Despite the request of the polling worker, no villager voted.

Villagers Changulal and Anup Singh told that a water tank has been built in the village but no pipeline has been laid for door-to-door supply of water. At the same time, since 2014, no Khadanja has been installed and no marriage procession or building has been built in the village for marriages or other social auspicious functions. While the above problems were raised many times before the regional representatives, till date the problems remain the same.
