Vidya Balan-Ileana's Kareena-Kriti clash

Mumbai: The clash between 'Crew' and 'Do Aur Do Pyar' at the box office has been averted. 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' has been extended by three weeks.

Vidya Balan, Ileana D'Cruz and Prateek Gandhi's 'Karo Ya Do Pyaar' was scheduled to release on March 29. However, 'Crew' starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon is scheduled to release on the same day. 'Crew' producer Ekta Kapoor and 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' producer Sameer Nair have been trying to postpone the release date for a long time. Since Ekta Kapoor has spent a lot of money for the promotion of 'Crew', finally Sameer Nair bowed down and now his film Ta. It was decided to release it on 19th April.

Anyway, clash of 'Do Aur Do Pyaar'. Ekta Kapoor's film 'Love, Sex Aur Dhokha Two' is going to be re-released on April 19. However, the producers are calculating that since both 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' and 'Love, Sex Aur Dhoka Too' are medium budget films, they will not suffer much financial loss from the box office clash.

However, according to the trade body, the release calendars for both March and April are full. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan' is going to release in April. If that film is successful then other films coming after it may also suffer losses.
