According to the information, on 24 May 2024, due to technical fault during landing, the helicopter had to make an emergency landing, which crashed. The helicopter was being taken to Gauchar airstrip with the help of Indian Air Force's MI 17 helicopter for repair. During this, the balance of MI 17 got disturbed. Therefore, sensing danger, the pilot looked for an empty space and left the helicopter in the valley.
Rescue team reached the spot
There were no passengers or luggage in the helicopter that was brought down from the sky. The rescue team reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The team is currently assessing the situation. However, after reaching the spot, the SDRF personnel also carried out a rescue operation.
