Vice President of Sahitya Parishad, satire poet MZ Khan 'Jhanjhat' passes away


Saharsa, May 16 (HS). Vice President of All India Sahitya Parishad, senior satire writer, MZ Khan 'Jhanjhat' passed away. General Secretary Anand Jha Muradpuri said on Thursday that he was hurriedly admitted to a private hospital after suffering a heart attack, but despite efforts, his life could not be saved. The doctor declared him dead.

President Awadhesh Jha Awadh called it an irreparable loss for the Parishad family and the literary world. He said that he was active in the council since old days. While working in Railways, he remained dedicated to literature. Recently, he had an active role in the Holi Milan celebration program.

Vice President Shyamanand Lal Das “Saharsh” said that he had the amazing art of presenting small things in humor. With his departure this corner of literature will remain incomplete. Patron Dr KS Ojha told that while making everyone laugh, he left everyone crying. Patron Dr. Rana Jairam Singh said that he was a strong pillar of the Council and it is impossible to replace him. On the occasion, litterateurs and council officials paid tribute.
