Jaunpur, 09 November (HS). A group of 08 volunteers, selected from various colleges by the National Service Scheme Cell of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur under the direction of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, left the university for the pre-Republic Day parade.
Vice Chancellor Professor Vandana Singh flagged off the university at Saraswati Sadan. The Vice Chancellor said that by joining the National Service Scheme, the attitude of the students towards the society and the nation will definitely remain for life. It is the feeling of service in our mind that inspires us to live in a positive way. He congratulated the students.
Coordinator of National Service Scheme, Dr. Raj Bahadur Yadav said that all these volunteers will participate in the training camp organized at BIT Patna from 10 to 19 November 2024. After this they will be selected for the Republic Day Parade. Senior Program Officer of the University Dr. Shashikant Yadav, Program Officer of Shia College Dr. Awadhesh Maurya, Dr. Tej Pratap Singh, Program Officer Office Minister, Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Digvijay Singh Rathore were present.
