Lucknow, 04 January (HS). To eradicate social inequality and untouchability, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will organize Samrasata Mahayagya and Ram Khichdi Sahbhoj on the occasion of Makar Sankranti in Dalit settlements. In the month of January, there will be marches of saints and harmony seminar in the service settlements. This information was given by Devji Bhai Rawat, Union Minister of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Central Head of Social Harmony Campaign.
Devji Bhai Rawat said that Samrasata Yatras are being organized by the Social Harmony Campaign with the message of ‘Samaras Samaj Samarth Bharat’. The purpose of the yatras is to create social harmony in the society. It has been started from Bhopal. Samrasata Yatra will be taken out in January in other states of the country including Uttar Pradesh. During the yatra, pledges are being taken from the people in the villages to create an untouchability-free India and an India full of harmony.
Devji Bhai Rawat told that there is a plan to take out Samrasata Yatra in all the provinces of the country. A journey lasts for seven days. The yatra of every state will be organized in the name of some saint or great man. During the yatra, there will be five or six small and big programs and street meetings every day. There will be speeches from saints during the meeting. There will also be a harmony feast during the yatra.
Dharmendra Kushwaha, co-province head of Social Harmony Campaign, said that Samrasata Yatra will be taken out in Awadh province from January 01 to January 7. For the success of the yatra, Samrasata Toli has been formed in all the districts of Awadh province. A plan has been made to create public awareness in the society through Ram Khichdi Sahbhoj and Samrasata Yatra.
