Vendors have played an important role in BHEL's progress: Murali

Haridwar, 6 August (HS). A vendor meet was organized at BHEL Haridwar with the aim of better coordination with its vendors and suppliers. The theme of this conference was 'Forward Together Aligning Vendors with Future Business Projection and Evolving Requirements'. The program was inaugurated by TS Murali, Executive Director of BHEL Haridwar by lighting the lamp.

Addressing the conference, TS Murali said that the role of vendors and suppliers is very important in the progress of BHEL. Murali said that this conference will help in giving a new dimension to the relationship between BHEL and its vendors. Earlier, while welcoming all the guests, General Manager (MM, PPX-BOI) SK Gupta said that without establishing better coordination with its vendors, no institution can move forward.

During the conference, information was given through presentation on various topics including BHEL's vision, mission and values, brief introduction of HIP unit and new projects. Apart from this, information was shared about various products of HIP unit and new business areas in future. In the program, 10 selected vendors from across the country were also honored on the basis of various parameters.

Various issues faced during work were discussed with the vendors in the conference. All the General Managers, senior officers and employees etc. were present on this occasion.
