Veer Hirani, son of Rajkumar Hirani, one of the most successful filmmakers of Hindi cinema, is soon going to take his first step in the world of acting with the web series ‘Pritam and Pedro’. This cult series is being produced by his father Rajkumar Hirani himself, due to which the excitement among the audience and cinema lovers to see Veer on screen is at its peak. However, very few people know that Veer has proved his mettle in the world of theater even before coming in front of the camera. Veer’s simplicity and serious acting in the lead role of ‘Suresh’ in the famous play ‘Letters of Suresh’ directed by renowned theater director Firoz Abbas Khan was highly praised by the critics.
In a recent interview, Firoz Abbas Khan recalled the days of his first meeting with Veer Hirani. He told how he had recognized the real actor hidden within Veer at first sight. ‘He is not arrogant like ordinary privileged children’ – Firoz Abbas Khan
Sharing the reason behind casting Veer Hirani in his play ‘Letters of Suresh’, Firoz Abbas Khan said, “When I met Veer for the first time and he spoke to me very politely, my gut immediately told me that he is a born actor. He is very calm and simple by nature. There is no pretense or loudness in him. That boy has amazing manners and values.”
He further said, “When I was casting for the difficult character of Suresh, Veer’s face first came to my mind. He is not at all like those rich and privileged star kids who think that if nothing works out in life, then let’s become an actor to pass the time. Veer is a real and trained professional, who has learned the intricacies of acting. While working with him, I have felt that he has the hunger to move forward continuously, No pause.”
Carried the burden of the entire drama on his shoulders, he is not a ‘one trick pony’
Firoz Abbas Khan praised Veer’s working style and said that he is never satisfied with average work and insists on making each of his performances better than the last. Khan said, “He never remains in this illusion that ‘I have achieved everything’. He goes home after every show with the thought that I have to do better tomorrow. Even when I used to put pressure on him during rehearsals, he never gave up. He is not a one trick pony, but he is a long race horse. He single-handedly carried the burden of the entire drama on his shoulders. Is.”
Praising Veer’s upbringing, he gave credit to Rajkumar Hirani’s family for it and said that Veer is a modern, independent thinking youth of today’s times, but he has immense respect for his roots and elders.

He smiled and said, “I haven’t seen any part of the series yet, but I plan to watch it soon.
