Vastu Shastra: Why should not these 4 things lying on the road be crossed? The reason is not just superstition

News India Live, Digital Desk: Vastu Shastra: We all walk on the streets daily, lost in our thoughts, moving towards our destination. On the way, we find many types of things lying, which we often ignore. But, you too must have heard from the elders of your house that some special things lying on the way should never be crossed.

Is it just a superstition, or is there any deep meaning behind it?

According to our old beliefs, there is not just fear behind it, but a science of energy and symbols. It is believed that some things absorb negative energy in themselves or they are related to negative events. When we cross them, we inadvertently come in contact with that negativity.

Let’s know what are the things that our elders used to advise to escape.

1. lemon-pepper bunch
This is probably the most common thing that is seen lying outside the intersections or shops. It is not a garbage. It is a ‘look buttu’, which is hung to absorb evil eye and negative energy. When it is thrown, it is believed that it is carrying all the negativity of that place. To cross it means to take someone else’s trouble on top of you.

2. bunch of hair
Hair is often used in actions such as tantra-mantra or ‘witchcraft’. According to beliefs, the bunch of hair lying on the way can be part of a tantric action, invoking negative forces. Therefore, it is considered prudent to stay away from such a thing.

3. Bones or ash
Both bones and ash are associated with death and funeral. These things are a symbol of mourning and sorrow. They are not only considered disrespect of the deceased, but it is also believed that negative and heavy energy related to them can enter your life.

4. Pooja content
Sometimes people keep the material related to it on the way after a particular puja. This can be done in honor of a deity or to remove any defect. Laying feet on it or crossing it, is like insulting the worship and deity, which is not considered good for you.

Whether you believe these things or not, this is your own faith. But there was definitely some experience and argument behind every advice of our elders. And when there is an easy way to escape from something, then why take the risk of unnecessary?
