Varanasi, 06 May (HS). The final assessment (external assessment) of Urban Community Health Center (CHC) Chowkaghat for the Kayakalp Program year 2023-24 was done on Monday. The evaluation team included Dr. Shriya Singh, Dr. Mohammad Abid and Dr. Ruchi Pathak. After the completion of the civil work being done on the CHC, the team praised the cleanliness and finding all the equipment and materials at the right place. The team conducted a thorough inspection of the labor room, general ward, lab, pharmacy and operation theater etc. During this time he directed to strengthen the lab.
It is noteworthy that in completing the rejuvenation of CHC Chowkaghat, the CHC was helped under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary, Superintendent Dr. Falguni Gupta, Nodal Officer of NUHM Dr. Amit Singh, Divisional Urban Advisor Mayank Kumar Rai, District Urban Health Coordinator Ashish Singh etc. The staff including team Archana Aggarwal, Lilavati, Sushila, Madhubala, Rakhi, Priyanka, Shweta Singh, Pramod Kumar Sharma have done their work well.
Superintendent Dr. Falguni Gupta said that in the first assessment conducted under the Kayakalp program for the year 2023-24, CHC had received more than 71 percent marks. The result of the second i.e. peer and final assessment is yet to come, which will be announced soon. He said that medical and health facilities are being continuously expanded at the urban CHC Chowkaghat, operated as the First Referral Unit (FRU) under the leadership of the Chief Medical Officer. Our aim is to provide high class medical and health facilities to all the patients visiting all government hospitals and primary and community health centers without any discrimination.
