Varanasi, March 29 (HS). No person will be able to run a private vehicle stand in his personal building or land in the Varanasi Municipal Corporation limit area. For this they will have to take permission from the Municipal Corporation. An intensive investigation campaign will start from April 1 against those running private vehicle stands without permission.
According to Municipal Commissioner Akshat Verma, if any person is found operating a private vehicle stand without the permission of the Municipal Corporation, then punitive action will be taken against him as per rules. He told that at present, if any citizen wants or wants to operate a private vehicle stand in his building/land, then it will be necessary to take permission from the Revenue Department of Municipal Corporation, Varanasi. For this, any citizen who is or is going to operate a private vehicle stand should contact the concerned contract clerk in the Revenue Department located in Room No. 31 on the ground floor at the Headquarters of Municipal Corporation, Varanasi, for permission on the prescribed format. Can apply. The Municipal Corporation will examine the said land/building and give permission to operate the vehicle stand. If anyone is found operating a private vehicle stand without permission, then punitive action will be taken against the operator and the land owner under relevant sections of the Municipal Corporation, for which the entire responsibility will be of the operator and the land owner.
Municipal Commissioner Akshat Verma has called a meeting on April 2 at 1:30 pm in the Municipal Corporation Auditorium. Operators running private vehicle stands can be present in this meeting and present their views. All private vehicle stand operators operating within Varanasi Municipal Corporation limits can attend this meeting.
