New Delhi, September 19 (HS). Famous Gujarati storyteller Ramesh Bhai Ojha will inaugurate the three-day workers' conference Samvet-2024 of All India Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram on September 20. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat will address the closing session of the conference on September 22.
More than two thousand delegates from across the country have started gathering in Samalkha to participate in this conference which is held every three years. Men and women from tribal areas from Kerala to Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh and even from Andaman have arrived for the conference.
On Thursday, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram's national president Satyendra Singh and Haryana president Ram Babu inaugurated an exhibition at the conference venue. This exhibition depicts the journey of Kalyan Ashram over seven decades.
According to the press release of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, famous storyteller of Gujarat Ramesh Bhai Ojha will inaugurate the conference on September 20. Various sessions will be organized in the conference in which the workers will give reportage of the programs happening across the country and guidance will be received from the officials on many important topics.
On September 21, at 6-30 pm, there will be instruction on traditional worship practices in which 80 tribes will participate. This ceremony will be inaugurated by RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat. A message will also be received from him on this occasion.
In the closing session of this conference on September 22, the workers will receive guidance from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat.
This year is the 500th birth anniversary of Rani Durgavati. A book is being released on this occasion. There will be stalls for sale of books and various items at this conference venue.
