Gorakhpur, 30 October (Hindustan Reporter). The people of Vantangiya community are eager to welcome their savior, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the occasion of Diwali. There is festive joy in the village Tikonia number three, situated amidst the Kusamhi forest, to welcome CM Yogi. Yogi will celebrate Diwali with the forest dwellers here on Thursday. Besides, he will also give a Diwali gift of development works worth Rs 185 crore to 74 gram panchayats of the district.

Vantangiya village, Jungle Tikonia number three, which was cursed to suffer the brunt of neglect for almost a hundred years, is now known as a very special village. The reason for this is that Chief Minister Yogi has been celebrating Deepotsav in this village since 2017. Yogi has been celebrating Diwali here since 2009 as an MP and even after becoming the Chief Minister, he has not allowed any interruption in the tradition started by him. As Chief Minister, he will share the happiness of Diwali with the forest dwellers for the eighth consecutive time on Thursday. It is noteworthy that with the arrival of Yogi, the plight of the one-legged people started changing into prosperity. As an MP, he fought for Vantangiya rights in the Lok Sabha and got the right to retain his seat in 2010. When he became the Chief Minister in 2017, he gave the status of revenue village to Vantangiya villages and made them entitled to all the facilities provided by the government. He has covered Vantangiya villages with resources like housing, roads, electricity, water, schools, and all the public welfare schemes for the people living here. The administration has completed all the preparations for the arrival of the Chief Minister in Vantangiya village by Wednesday and the people of the village are also ready to welcome him with great enthusiasm.
